Die Autorin Usch Luhn wurde in Österreich geboren und arbeitete nach dem Studium der Germanistik und Publizistik beim Kinderfernsehen und beim Radio. Heute unterrichtet sie Dramaturgie an einer Filmschule, schreibt Drehbücher und sehr erfolgreiche Kinderbücher. Sie hat bis heute über dreißig Kinder- und Jugendbücher publiziert.
