Sanna är den duktigaste eleven på Siljedalens Ridklubb och älskar att vara i stallet. Men den här sommaren blev inte alls som Sanna hade tänkt sig. Hon får inget sommarjobb och får dessutom beskedet att hon inte har kommit in på sin gymnasielinje. Som om inte detta vore nog så råder det stor ovisshet på ridklubben. Ekonomin går dåligt och klubben riskerar att läggas ner. Det skulle innebära att hästarna måste säljas. Och är det sant att den älskade ridläraren Ylva fått sparken?
