A little loose with the realities of submarine warfare but nonetheless keeps the attention of the listener with a fast pace and interesting story. A mix of factual background and fictional storyline puts a lot of gloss on what was often a mundane and routine life for a submariner between chances for action.

Great listen , gave a good outline of submarine operations with not too much technical detail as you sometimes get from subject matter experts. Good continuity from book 1 Final Harbour.
