Great story, makes you feel like you’re in the battle, very realistic and petrifying! The bravery of Sharpe and his men make you cross for what soldiers gave for politicians who really didn’t care a fig! Only criticism, in Sharpe’s timeline Obidia is far from new and his escapes from elephants, tigers and cliff edge falls is mysteriously forgotten! As with a few books, it feels like the written order or late commercial additions were added to bulk up the profits!! But who cares, always a great read, come on Sharpe, let’s kill the……
