Great read
This is my first Rebecca Bradley novel, it kept me interested the whole way through - trying to work out ‘who done it’, I felt the ending was a little rushed but could have given a little more, hence the 4 star rating. However I would recommend this book. Narration was excellent.

Great read
Aaah what can I say. A difficult subject but one that was written in a way not to be too disturbing. The ending was amazing but sad and happy all rolled up in one. If you like JD Kirk, David Gatward, JM Dalgleish, Alex Smith etc you will like this. I am about to go buy the next book.

Not so good
couldn't treat the story seriously, it is too adolescent, maybe with a different narrator it would be better

Pleased l decided to listen to this book!
A new author for me - so iit was interesting.
l find increasingly there is a self delusional aspect to crime writing where the cop characters believe they are " saving the world". Very childish stuff this rhetoric.

Mildly Irritating
The storyline wasn’t bad, hard listening due to subject matter but the main character was irritating and patronising. I’m not sure if it was due to the narrator’s delivery which also irked me. Sounded like she was explaining things to a child at times. Over detailed in parts and then came to an abrupt end.

A good read
The actual story is good. But I found the narration style in the first person ordinary and at times felt like giving up on finishing. Really glad I didn't.

Great ending but hard work getting there.
Too much narrating by Hannah and not enough dialogue between other characters.
Was a little tedious and didn’t hold my attention. Ending was great and will not disappoint, if you can stay awake until you get there

Scary subject on human evil.
Its a good book. Narration not my fave! The end needed more than it got. It is sad to read that while its a fiction story, this happens irl. Kinda depressing !

Ok but not a favourite. Important storyline tho
Overly heavy on procedural stuff for my taste... or perhaps it's just the writing style. not a favourite. Prefer other crime authors. Narrator ok but I didnt warm to this narration. Perhaps she'd be better suited to other genres - I felt more annoyed by than sympathetic to the main characters. Won't rush to listen to more from this author
