I love Jeaniene Frost and Tavia Gilbert is a amazing narrator. This book is amazing just as good actually even better if possible than every other book in this Night Huntress World. This is Ian’s story, I’ve been waiting for his story for a long time. This book doesn’t disappoint! This book is the first in Ian’s series. It has action, romance and lots of humour. This book keeps you on the edge of your seat. Lucky for us this is only the beginning of Ian’s adventure. If you are a Night Huntress fan this book is a must.
If you are new to this Author start at the beginning, Halfway to the grave. Her Night Huntress series and spin off books and series are a must. But to appreciate this book and Ian who is a pretty prominent character in her other books you have to start with book one of this world, Halfway to the Grave.
Jeaniene Frost’s Night Huntress World is the best Vampire books you’ll ever read, and so funny! Many laugh out loud moments. If you are already a fan, get this book. It’s soooo good. If not start at the beginning, you won’t regret it.

Omg I hope this is another series like the night Huntress, there is a huge potential for Veritas and Ian together hunting those evil and powerful souls from Dagon. I love this book I've never been this excited since Cat and Bones and Vlad and Leila, it's action packed , full of thrills and edge of your seat suspense that takes your breath away. Travis Gilbert in my opinion is the beat female narrator in the whole world. she is magnificent and her emotions is real and makes you feel everything.

Worth the read if you liked anything about the Night Huntress world.
Not going to lie, Ian was one of my least favourite characters for most of the original series. So thoroughly enjoying every moment of this book was a definite suprise. I was honestly dubious of Ian being depicted in a monogamist relationship but it was done so well.
While yes some of the voices were different from previous books in this world the difference wasn't so much to bother me.

Loved this whole storyline, drama, paranormal antics, steamy hot loving, a very well narrated adventure. 5plus stars can’t wait to listen and read the next story from this author, well done to her.
