Publisher's Summary

Thousands of years ago, a magnificent golden capstone sat atop the Great Pyramid of Giza. It was a source of immense power, capable of bestowing upon its holder absolute global rule for a thousand years.... But then, in 323 BC, the capstone was broken into seven pieces and spread to the corners of the Earth, hidden within the Seven Ancient Wonders of the World. Now, with the coming of a rare solar event, the time has come to locate the pieces and rebuild the capstone.

Critic Reviews

"A nonstop roller-coaster ride that lurches around the globe." (Publishers Weekly)

"A novel that grabs readers by the hand and pulls them along until they're out of breath. It is impossible (even for hard-core cynics) not to love this big, boisterous, action-filled adventure." (Booklist)

Not the biggest fan of Sean Mangan But Reilly!!

Not the biggest fan of Sean Mangan's audio performance, just doesn't sit right. But I'm hoping he will grow on me because Reilly's books kick ass.

Enjoyed this story immensely. Good pace, good narrator, great story. Jack West is a pretty cool hero.

Worth a read.

I enjoyed the story and Mathew Reilly goes into extreme detail with everything which I find allows you to get to know the characters and your minds eye can visualise what is going on. For fans of Raiders of the lost arc this book is right up your alley. This is my second Mathew Reilly book and would recommend it.

Indiana Jones meets the Da Vinci Code

A well executed book. It moves at a good pace. Obvious nods to Lucas/Spielberg and Dan Brown.

Wow! Eat your heart out Harrison Ford!

It kept me enthralled until the very end. I give thanks to my friends Andrew Wilson and Natasha Garretty for suggesting this series of books.
