About this listen
A priest, a scientist, and a psychologist walk into a bar....
This isn’t the beginning of a joke. It’s the start of a long-overdue conversation about how mainstream religion has handed down a God that only a sadomasochist could love. How are we supposed to worship a deity who wants to only slaughter innocents to assuage his own bloodthirsty rage?
Thank the loving God revealed in Setting God Free that Sean Ólaoire has finally unpacked the horror show known as “the difficult passages” of the Bible, giving listeners access to a cosmology built not on canonical scripture alone, but also on science, spirituality, and personal experience. And as for the God we humans have created in our own image? His day in court has finally come.

Highly Comprehensive and engaging
First off, well done to the author for an entertaining reading of this fantastic book. I was thoroughly engaged from start to finish. The material was incredibly well researched and the arguments presented there in were fascinating and thought provoking. I felt right at home in listening to this great work. This book presents and expands upon the major tenants of spirituality but not before performing a decent breakdown of the major flaws in the misguided dogma of religion. The subject matter is wide ranging, very entertaining and a must for anyone wanting to dig deep to find some spiritual gold in their own life. Far too much within the pages to appraise in a simple review. A five star performance. I can highly recommend this book.
