Sie löst eine Fahrkarte nach Eisenach und steigt in den Zug nach Paris. Kurz vor der innerdeutschen Grenze findet man sie unter einer Abteilbank und fragt sie, wo sie hinwolle. Sie antwortet höflich: "Nach Paris". Die Schilderung ihrer anschließenden Odyssee durch die ostdeutschen Haftanstalten ist eine grandiose Abrechnung mit einem System, das für Abweichler nur eine Antwort kannte: Erziehung durch Härte.
