Publisher's Summary

She got away once. They can’t let it happen again.

Eva Driscoll is on the run. She has a new identity, and the best part of $20m liberated from the CIA. Henry Langton is dead but his sinister allies are circling, and not even a presidential pardon can help Eva against an organization that operates above the White House.

With agents around the globe and no tactic off limits, Langton’s men are calling the shots. When they track down ex-CIA computer expert Farooq Naser and threaten Andrew Harvey and Tom Gray, Eva knows they will come for her next. She needs to run - and fast - but what chance does one woman have against the most powerful group in the United States, with just a few ex-spooks and a couple of mercenaries on her side?

But her pursuers should know that, even backed into a corner, Eva Driscoll is not the kind of prey to give up without a fight. But will it mean hurting those she cares for the most?

Another excellent Alan McDermott thriller

The named protagonist Eva Driscoll plays a slightly smaller role in Seek and Destroy than does Tom Gray who was the named protagonist in the prior Alan McDermott series. British author McDermott does a great job of weaving an outstanding plot while providing lots of action and suspense. His novels are short at 6 to 7 hours because he does not waste useless words. His novels are very faced paced.

As Seek and Destroy approached its end I was unsure there would be more novels in the series, but during the closing 15 minutes McDermott sets up the next Eva Driscoll novel nicely. I'm becoming accustomed to the narration of Angela Dawe. I doubt she will ever become one of my favorites, but she does an excellent job in Seek and Destroy.

Fast paced and FREE with Kindle Unlimited...

Many thanks to Audible reviewer Wayne (Mathews, NC) for his reviews of this series. I would have never listened to these books if he hadn't have left two glowing reviews for the two current books.
I thoroughly enjoyed the fast pace and suspense in these well told stories of betrayal and revenge. I think between the publisher's summary and the other reviews there's not much I could add other then to HIGHLY RECOMMEND the series.

Thank You.

Great book and awesome narration..

This wasn’t as good as Run and Hide but it was still good. Eva and her crew had to come out of hiding and Henry Langton wanted Eva out in the open so badly he had Harvey’s and Gray’s daughters kidnapped, Alana and Melissa, to bring them all out. When Eva and her team all got together and found out where Langton was all kinds of crap started happening.

They came from all over the world when Eva called: Len, Sonny, Rees, Carl, and this time Thomas Gray, who has his own series, had no choice but to join them because his 5 year old daughter Melissa was taken. (I might have to take a look at his series.)

There was a lot of action in this book and that’s what I read these books for. I did notice Eva wasn’t in it as much as the other book but that really didn’t bother me, as it seems to have bothered others. There was so much going on, with so many different people; I couldn’t have expected her to be on every page.

There was a slight romance in this story; Eva and Carl stayed together from the last book. And the F-bomb was used 9 times.

As to the narration: Angela Dawe did a spectacular job. Everyone had their own voice but the one she gave Henry Langton was simply awesome, because when he spoke he really never spoke at all he yelled angrily. Her reading emotions were off the charts. Incredible job, Ms. Dawe.

Fast moving but lightweight

Fast action that's engaging. However brevity means little time for plot twists or prolonged action.
