Margaret studied the other rebels hiding with her in an old church. She listened quietly as they discussed King Remington and his army approaching their small town, intent on finding his missing daughter at any cost. As questions of the secret identity and whereabouts of the missing princess flew around the room, she noticed the tattered clothes, the calloused hands, and the weathered faces.
She'd escaped prison to warn King Henry in the neighboring kingdom, despite rumors of a new monster in the Bordar Mountains. But then she'd found the rebels. Should she postpone her travels to Hollins Shire to help them?
After seeing the violence and poverty forced upon her countrymen, she realized it was the evil King Remington's doing. Glancing around at the rebels one last time, Margaret thought to herself, "I want to fight for my people."
