I listened to the audio of this and it was AMAZING. The story is funny and spicy but also so moving and beautiful. I had both sad and happy tears during numerous scenes.
The relationship between Kai, Remi and Sam was so sweet, their dynamic was so great and I loved each of them so much. They all made me laugh and smile and I was kicking my legs like a school girl more times than I can count.
Greer was the Scrooge whose heart grows three sizes by the end and her redemption arc put the biggest smile on my face. Her happy ending with the men was everything I’d hoped for and so much more.
The spice was SPICY and I had no idea I was into tentacles, so thanks for that lol
The performances from Samantha Brentmoor, Adam Gold, Grayson Owens and Sean Masters were nothing short of perfection. They put so much feeling and emotion into their words, it made the whole story that much more real. I hung on every single word and hated every single time I had to hit pause.
I have now read all 4 of Kayla’s holiday books and although I love them all, this has skyrocketed to number 1. I will be listening to this every holiday season, I just know it.
