I am about 3 hours into the book. I am having trouble keeping track of who I am following in the story, who has died, and what the plot is. I am wondering if I missed a book that comes before this one? Will update review if things change.

A beautifully told story, focussing on a core group of vivid characters allowing the reader (listener) to delve deeper into the characters minds than your average fantasy novel hero. Another triumph for Gail Z Martin who never ceases to deliver unique worlds of fantasy to escape into. Loved it!
