loved it another good one. I found beginning slow but in no time was completely enthralled, as always.

Read the Sword of Shannara in my mid twenties, became so hooked I waited for the arrival of the any more. Recall ringing booksto

Read the original trilogy when it was first released. My introduction to Science fantasy was like coming home, it resonated with me on so many levels. This series encouraged me to look for more but also spoilt me in regard to quality. Went on to Tolkien from here, clearly another winner. Tried many other sci fantasy authors over the years but for me Tolkien & Brooks are the masters....used to search for anything Terry Brooks for years. Lot of water under the bridge since my last read until I discovered this on Audible last weekend, only to find it as enthralling as I remember... enjoyed the hell out of yet again.

Good but changed plot style

Change to the themes and plot style from the first two in this trilogy, and not sure I enjoyed that as much. Very happy to dispose of characters much more so than others stories..
