Ready to start again
Finished this a few weeks ago, needed time to reflect. One of the many feelings that ensued has stuck firm - I need to, want to, begin again. Ka.

sad its done
i read all the books leading up to this final chapter. i was sad to begin this last chapter as it has taken many years to reach. just like the gunslinger himself i began. i was not disappointed. just sad when it was over.

Childe Roland to the Dark Tower Came
The Dark Tower series is epic. Roland and his Ka Tet have been in my heart and mind since 1987 when I first stumbled across volume 1, The Gunslinger. I’m so pleased I listened to the series on audible as I’d never have time to sit and read all 7 books again (at least not until retirement age). George Guidall narrated like a pro and I enjoyed every minute. I highly recommend the Dark Tower series to anyone who is looking to dive into the world which has moved on and journey with 5 of my most favourite fictional characters in this lifetime do ya Ken? A masterpiece indeed. Thankee Big Big.

Fantastic conclusion to a brilliant series
I loved this! I had read the first 5 books in the series, the last 3 were all new to me and they didn't disappoint! I loved it, will work through it again, the 8 books are over 140 hours of listening, but definitely worth the 2 - 3 weeks it will take to get through (6 nights a week on the road)

Last and best
Listening to the audio version of The Dark Tower brings the whole series alive. Having loved Roland for many years, and then Eddie, Jake, Susanna not to mention Oy, it was wonderful to hear them “talk” and come alive. Both narrators did a wonderful and unique job of telling the story of Roland, even SK himself did a fine job in book 4.5.

Was a good read.... I say true ....
Stephen King has remembered the face of his father.... enjoyable series.... 2nd time reading the series 10 years in between... still as enjoyable the 2nd time round
