Thoroughly Enjoyable.
The Lumatere Chronicles, are right up there with some of the best books that I have read. Marchetta's characters are three dimensional, distinctive, diverse and believable. Her narrative is entertaining and her plot exceptional. This is a totally entertaining story, from start to finish.

Wonderful series

I find that I am greedy.
I find that even after reading the final words in this series I still want more. I want to weave stories in my head of the lives that I have come to know through the pages of these books. I am thankful that unlike many other stories in this genre that my favorite characters did not lose their lives in bloody carnage but I want to share this reading experience with others so that they too can lose themselves in the lives of these characters and mountains, valleys and villages of these landsI would love for this to be picked up and made into a trilogy of movies (please not a tv series) but for now I think I will be satisfied to re-read and re-listen to these books.

An epic journey
I love this book series. Each book comes with new emotions and events that I can visualise as if I’m watching a tv series. I read this series at least once a year since i was a teenager. Highly recommend!
