Tales of sea monsters, dark elves, ice bears, hideous hydra-headed serpents, and loathsome draconian troops.
Further adventures of the kender Tas; the innkeepr Otic and young Tika; the dwarf Flint and Tanis, leader of the companions; Caramon and Raistlin, twin brothers, one, a genial warrior, the other, a sickly magician and scholar.

Story
When Michael Moorcock began chronicling the adventures of the albino sorcerer Elric, last king of decadent Melniboné, and his sentient vampiric sword, Stormbringer, he set out to create a new kind of fantasy adventure, one that broke with tradition and reflected a more up-to-date sophistication of theme and style. The result was a bold and unique hero: a rock-and-roll antihero who would channel all the violent excesses of the '60s into one enduring archetype.

Fantastic Fantasy
loved every minute of it, easy to follow story with some very charming characters.
The narrator seemed like they were reading to a child and that took away from the immersion a little, but altogether a great book

pool of dullness
mediocrity floats to the surface In this pool of easy listening fantasy tropes. came for the forgotten realms lore, stayed for the stubborn refusal to give up on a story which was surely going to stitch together half baked character sheets with the right amount of twists and turns and the thrilling action dicerolls would critically hit in the end. what we get here is mostly a miss with too many myopic sidequest villains wrapped in a wafer thin hallmark card drama. look, I know it's not meant to be Dickens but don't insult the reader with this colour by numbers attempt at a dnd adventure
