After years of galactic wanderings, Arthur finally settles on the small planet Lamuella and becomes a sandwich maker. Looking forward to a quiet life, his plans are thrown awry

Freeman makes it even funnier.

I grew up reading the Hitchhiker book series. In addition to being a far out funny series, I remember being fascinated at how clever and unique the plot and script was. Decades later, I've again reacquainted my love for the novels, and the experience, kind of like a journey back in my own space/time continuum. But this time, exceeding my expectations, the magic of the novel has been brought to new comical life by Martin Freeman. Simply put: Freeman makes it even funnier. The only bad thing I can say about this audible volume is that it ended!

Mostly amazing

I don’t know what to say, it’s over??!! The first one is the best I think but oh my gosh I will miss this story!
The names are wonderful love the choices
I love that it all came together in the end!
And Martin was the best choice!!

Douglas Adams genius storyteller

I have been listening to a few books lately, and they have been enjoyable but at times difficult to listen to.

I started this one and the magic of the read words swirled around my mind. Douglas Adams had a very good understanding of how stories sound good, probably from writing so much for radio and TV. His books are just an enormous pleasure to listen to.

We humans where so lucky to have had his artistic genius at all.

An excellent story. Marvelous for a bit of adventure and escapism from our own crazy world to an entire other universe of wierd and wonderful.

An epic finale

With weird pop culture tie-ins and events that make use of bizarre "what if" scenarios. This is a fun adventure that will keep you entertained.

Not too bad

This instalment was better than the last two. Still could have done without the swearing.
