Amazing story telling.
Very Compelling characters, you will find yourself rooting for the bad guys sometimes. great plot and original ideas, well executed Story, Amazing Book & Series.

Plot intensive conclusion
The final book in the trilogy moves far and away from being the more character driven piece of the first book and becomes even more focused on the plot. So much so that I felt like it could have been split into two novels. As such I found this book not to be as good as the first two noting I found it difficult to get through in the first third. However the remaining two thirds are extremely well paced and exciting and it was easy to keep listening. Ultimately the conclusion is satisfying and shines a new light on characters that I rarely see dared in other novels. Great trilogy.

life lessons aplenty
absolutely loved the closing of the trilogy. The character arcs of the protagonist and antagonists landed in incredible and unexpected areas. Capped off like an after dinner mint by the narration of Steven Pacey, the book maintained consistent quality and left me feeling paid off, mind blown and indecently satisfied. Highly recommended

Outstanding 3rd book in The First Law, my only difficulty was the sometimes unremitting level of violence, Instead of skipping parts, I had to tune out or I became too disturbed.
So sad about West’s fate ...

Plenty of Sparks and Fire for Excitement
Joe Abercrombie and Steven Pacey do a top job with this series. Although I found book 1 took more effort to read. But I'm glad I persisted.

Last of 3, but don't miss the standalone books
When I finished this series I felt like there was a big hole left in my life, so thoroughly had the author and narrator engrossed me in this world! I was flat, then I discovered there were three standalone books, and the hole was plugged!

Exceptional narration
Amazing narration by Steven Pacey. Every character had their own voice and he sustained it reliably and believably the entire trilogy. Hats off!
Fun story that has kept me engrossed the whole way. Loved Glokta and Logan the best. Superb yarn - highly recommend it!
