love all of the midkemia books but wish you'd stuck with Peter Joyce as narrator

Riveting

Great continuation of series. with no disrespect this Narrator Matt Bates doesn't quite fit, as I've been listening to Peter Joyce narrating for 26 books in this series & his voice makes the series feel a little disjointed. Still a wonderful story.

Great to see more of a wonderful character like Jimmy the Hand

Great to read what happened after Jimmy helped save Prince Arutha and Anita. Would love to see more of Flora, Bram and Lorre. Jarvis Coe was a great new character too. Another great series in the Rift war Saga.

Good for all ages.

I think this might just be the best book so far in the series that a younger audience might enjoy.

lack of prep?

didn't even listen to the preview of one of the other books, may have helped with mispronounced words that readers have heard pronounced a thousand times correctly.

other than that, cheers

Not bad

Really well done narration. The story has some good moments but is nowhere near as exciting as his other works. Gets a bit repetitive at times even. still worth hearing the story as there are important developments to the overall lore.

Worth a listen

It's a slow start but a good little side story.

Shame that Jarvis Coe doesn't turn up again in the saga as he's quite a cool character.

Performance is entertaining.
