Publisher's Summary

Since the earliest days of the Great Crusade, Sanguinius - angelic primarch of the IXth Legion - was ever among the closest and most loyal of Horus' brothers. But the Blood Angels have long kept their true nature hidden from the rest of the Imperium, and when the Warmaster hints that the key to their salvation may lie in the ruins of a conquered world, the sons of Sanguinius race to claim it.

Now, as the revelation of their betrayal dawns and the traitors' hand is revealed, the Blood Angels must face all the warp-spawned armies of Chaos, as well their own personal daemons, upon the blasted plains of Signus Prime....

A great listen

For the main part, this is an excellent audio book and narration. A number of times I got disinterested, however pushing through until the better parts was definitely worth it. I'd recommend this audio book.

Yes

A great story that progresses the storyline and is thrilling to the last. I'd skip the last book entirely and miss nothing, but skip this and risk losing a great leap forward.

Great story

Story is great, only let down by blood thirsty angels and demons sounding like the would be more at home in customer service of a 1930’s garden centre. Shame but still enjoyed it.

Erebus fucks up blood angels addition

Decent book I like the look into the blood angels legion.

My favourite bit is when erebus fucks up gets a 10/10 for that

Why is he doing those voices?

book was absolutely ruined by the ridiculous Henry the octopus accent the narrator puts on for every second character. The worst part is that he ruined Sanguinius, a near ancient angel-demi god. the narrator made him sound so goofy.
