Worth a listen
While you can get away with skipping it, this has some great stories. Two of them were already included in the audio dramas, so I'd heard them before, but the rest were worth it.

pretty good for beginners
Was abit hard to follow if you binge it chapter to chapter, they take place from different worlds and different chapters overall thoroughly enjoyed either way good listen for people new to the lore

A decent anthology
Anthology’s are never my favourite, however the inclusion of lorgar’s novella and some decent imperium secundus details means it was a surprisingly gripping anthology I can recommend.

Boring collection of short stories
The collections of short stories have their highlights and function in the Horus Heresy series, but unfortunately, the highlights are few and far between. Nothing much is missed by skipping over this book.

not bad a few re used stories.
some good stories, lorgar one was good. pretty annoying to hear 4 stories near the end that I have heard elsewhere.
