Book 2 of the Demon Accords.
It's been seven months since Chris Gordon met Tanya Demidova, and a lot has changed. He's stronger and faster and has the senses of a vampire and the appetite of a werewolf. But even as he settles into his new position with the Special Situations Squad and his relationship with Tanya, new threats appear. Good voice for a good book. I enjoy the world it’s set in and the characters.
Would you listen to Demon Driven again? Why?
Yes. Simply put its just that d@mn good.
What did you like best about this story?
Having marathoned through the series I will say this is were things go from good to great.
This is the book were the series starts to form its identity.
The first book was good but it lack it's own signature style that made it stand out from the average "dude discovers the supernatural and falls in love with supernatural uber hot chick".
In this book we go into great detail about how "magic" works, who the main antagonists of the series are and other such things and having read a LOT of urban fantasy I can say this is one of the better lesser known series.
Which character – as performed by James Patrick Cronin – was your favorite?
Lydia mostly because of her banter with Chris.
Any additional comments?
I really enjoyed this book and will likely relisten to it multiple times.
The character interaction/banter is were most of the awesome humor lies and is easily my favorite part of the series.
I would recommend this book and the series as a whole to anyone who enjoys urban fantasy.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I would recommend this book and series. To find the first book of a series that is nonstop from start to finish and realize there are 7 more waiting in the wings so to speak is just AWSOME!!!
What did you like best about this story?
It is difficult to pick what is best of this story. It was a easy to keep reading until it was finished and then the panic of I need the next book... NOW!!!
Which scene was your favorite?
The confrontation with the Government is well done, and if such a person did exist the government reaction was believable.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
My reaction to this book was " there are only 6 books left " !!!!!!!
Any additional comments?
Thank you Audible for adding not just a first book in a series. Finding you have added 8 books in a series that wasn't there a day before is like Christmas for me. .

I just finished reading this whole series, well all the books available. I have to say I truly enjoyed it it wasn't overly exciting but exciting enough with new characters to keep you interested. Now for me, it is hard to keep me interested in a series because I have read so many books. I don't know if I'd read a book or if it's just a repeat of something I've already read. And this was one of those books that I haven't come across yet. Yes there are vampire and werewolves and demons and witches all that stuff but it's the main character that kind of changes things.
One thing that almost made me stop reading this book was when I was closer to the end in the series and they change the character. They introduced a new character and made the next book about him and I didn't think I was going to like the book because of that at. Have to say they definitely made it interesting and it caught my attention in the next book after that was even better once you get to book 8 in book 9 you'll just want more. I hope they put book 10 and audio form so I don't have to read it again and I can just listen to it but it's great series I hope you enjoy. Definitely worth it.

This is a continuation of God Touched and is a great second story. The characters are interesting, the story is unique enough and not pandering. The narrator does a great job portraying the innocence of the main character while still being able to seem menacing. Highly recommend the series.

Conroe's work seems tailored for audio books. He keeps it light, positive, fun. He manages to make you smile and does not get lost in unending fights or romantic moments. Looking for something to listen to while going at chores, driving or cleaning house? Look no further.

Just too much power. There was just never any suspense because there was never any question who would win the day. Additionally, there really wasn't any sort of discernable story arc. Things just happened and kept happening.

If you could sum up Demon Driven in three words, what would they be?
Action Passion Different
What other book might you compare Demon Driven to and why?
None so far but am going to read the whole series and look forward to the next one
Which scene was your favorite?
Alot of action, not much standing around but the build up of the cast of characters gives the story a feel that makes you want to read more
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes, in fact I burn thru these kind of fast and love the storyline that keeps getting better

I discovered this series by accident, which has proved to be fortunate for me. I enjoyed this written book and found the narrator's delivery really added to the overall enjoyment. the story is about paranormal characters, some police and military aspects, vamlires, weres, and god-like creatures. I will be purchasing next books in the series because I know I will enjoy reading them again.

What did you like about this audiobook?
I like the simple honesty of the main character's personality and the details of how characters navigated general daily life. The author's presentation easily draws in the reader. I really disliked the reference to political leanings and rhetoric, which is much of what I am avoiding when I chose to read fiction. Whereas, I do enjoy a book that shows the good guys making fools of governent types, it became too difficult not to think about what was an expression of the author's political opinion and, whether or not something was meant as a double entendre - way too distracting.
How has the book increased your interest in the subject matter?
I almost didn't make it to the end. Immersing myself in the story was mostly lost when Fox News was mentioned as a favorite news source - after that it was hard not to look for hidden political/radical references. Narrative like, threatening to attack the White House and other government related buildings and having to eradicate demon driven "terrorists" along with the dalect used for the presidents voice by the narrator, further illuminated political overtones.
Does the author present information in a way that is interesting and insightful, and if so, how does he achieve this?
I like the way the author presents the information readers need to know about the story's supernatural world - as the main character learns about himself, specifics about the way the supernatural world operates is revealed.
What did you find wrong about the narrator's performance?
The narrator's voice for Tanya sounds Mexico-Hispanic instead of Russian at many times.
