Publisher's Summary

Traci Harding returns to the Ancient Future trilogy, which ended with the ࢨosen leaving Earth for the further reaches of space.

Earth must follow its own path for a time while the gods battle elsewhere. Noah, storyteller and chronicler, tutors the children born after colonisation and must explore the past to fill in the gaps in his written histories.

Tory, Maelgwn and Rhun recall their life and times in ancient Britain when Maelgwn reigned as High King of the Britons and Tory was a student of time travel and immortality under Taliesin. Rhun became King of Gwynned after Maelgwn.

When Vortipor, High King of the Britons, dies, there is a bloody four day skirmish over who should succeed him. Sir Bryce is killed in the action, and Rhun is forced to abdicate. Noah finds himself on a celestial journey through the ethers, space and time as the missing years in his Chronicle of Ages unfold.

Book is awesome

Narration was the worst ever. I listened only when forced to preferring to read than having to listen

Compelling

Traci's writing has evolved a lot since 'Ancient Future', and the story just keeps getting more and more compelling.

Love Traci Harding

I loved delving back into the world (s) of the chosen. This narative from the perspective of one of their ranks fills so many of the gaps in their histories not covered in The Ancient Trilogy., and takes us back to the dark ages, as well as giving glimpses into the chosen's incarnations within the other human tribes.
Once again, thank you Traci, for sharing your stort telling genius.
Grant Cartwright does a pretty fair reading of this tale, and this one makes sense to have a male reader. Not in the Class of Edwina Wren, however.

Yet another smash hit

I live a life that keeps my life extraordinarily busy with work, friends, family & way too many hobbies so listening to the wonderfully well written work by Traci Harding (my fav author btw) during my dull commute, when grocery shopping or doing the drudgery that is housework is exceptionally welcome, especially as even though I have purchased all of her books, I can't seem to find the time to read them.

So Disappointed

I love this book, I have read the series so many times over the past 2 decades that I know the books almost word for word. My 20 year old car is named Bryce after a favourite character, so when I heard you were finally releasing the rest of them on audiobook I was thrilled. I am sorry, but the narrator is terrible. I tried but I simply can not listen to him. No emotion, doesn't capture the characters at all, I can only imagine this was what caused the many delays in realising the book. Heartbroken, hope you will get someone else to do the others.

Terrible Narrator

I love this story, I have it on paper back and have just listened to the Ancient Future Trilogy narrated by Edwina Wren. Omg this Narrator is terrible, almost robotic sounding and is pronouncing names incorrectly. I'm devastated. I can't listen to it. I'm sorry.
