Publisher's Summary

The elite crew of the pirate ship UNS Flying Dutchman had a simple mission: determining whether the Thuranin are sending another starship to Earth. Along the way, they became sidetracked by securing a future for the UNEF troops on the planet Paradise. When asked whether Earth was now safe, their ancient alien AI responded "Not so much"...now they have to deal with the consequences.

Moar of the same

Great performance as usual but I feel like nothing happens anymore and I find myself very often just putting it on the background while I check something else. I'm not sure if I'll be listening to the next in the series.

Copy Of Previous Good Book

I am so bored listening to this book. It is a repeat of Craig's previous good books what with infamous dummy Joe coming up with all of the ideas to save the world while Mr Super Super Super Smart A.I. Skippy can't work out how to save himself!! Add in another AI, more aliens to eliminate in unbelievable circumstances and Joe repeating to us How To Suck Eggs every time he goes out and does something dangerous. Honestly Jo and Skippy need to be killed off ASAP!!

action and suspense were almost non-stop and includes some humour.

initially I thought Skippy could become annoying. Not the case at all. some of the accents are a bit off.

Very good, sometimes jarred out of the story

Those occasional imperial measurements were jarring, dropping me out of the story, why (for example) "9.4 million miles" instead of "15 million kilometres"?
Looking forward to the next book.
