A stand-alone novel set in Susan R. Matthews's critically acclaimed "Judiciary" universe, Angel of Destruction focuses on Bench officer Garol Vogel and his attempts to make peace with the Langsarik people-the people his own Judiciary drove into a life of piracy.
While there was much less Andrej than I've become accustomed to -- missed his conflicted self --- this was still a very good read. Really fleshes out some of the characters introduced in the Andrej books, especially Vogel.
If you could sum up Angel of Destruction in three words, what would they be?
This novels fills in, with rich detail, Andrej's world and gives us some other semi-heroes to cheers for.

As always, very well written. Matthews can really turn a phrase and set a scene.
