Werner Veidt (1903-1992) war ein deutscher Schauspieler und Autor. Er absolvierte nach der Schule eine Schauspielausbildung und wurde an zahlreichen deutschen Bühnen engagiert. Obwohl in Erfurt geboren, war er in Tamm aufgewachsen und dort des schwäbischen Dialektes mächtig geworden. Ab 1963 trat er zwei Jahrzehnte lang gemeinsam mit seinem schwäbischen Kollegen Walter Schultheiß als schwäbisches Straßenkehrer-Duo "Karle und Gottlob" in Stuttgart auf. Außerdem war er zwischen 1970 und 1976 regelmäßig als schwäbischer "Bruddler" in der Fernseh-Abendschau des Süddeutschen Rundfunks Stuttgart zu sehen. Darüber hinaus wurde er mit seinen Büchern nach schwäbischer Mundart bundesweit bekannt. Veidt wurde mit dem Bundesverdienstkreuz ausgezeichnet.©2017 SAGA Egmont (P)2017 SAGA Egmont
