About this listen

From New York Times bestselling author Laura Scott

Search and rescue and love...

Pregnant with amnesia!

Bailey Adams discovered she was pregnant a week after her husband’s death. Despite being ruled an accident, Bailey is convinced there was something more going on with her husband than anyone else realized. And when she’s nearly killed in a similar car crash, she’s more convinced than ever that her husband was murdered.

Trevor Sullivan and his K9 Archie manage to find Bailey at the bottom of a ravine, alive. But when Bailey looks at him as if he’s a stranger, he is horrified to realize she has amnesia. A killer has Bailey in the crosshairs, but until she regains her memory, Trevor fears they’ll never uncover the truth. Can he keep Bailey and her unborn child safe until her memory returns? Or will they all die without knowing the truth?

This is book 8 and in this one it felt a little repetitive or predictable at times but the characters are interesting as is the storyline concept. The love story is sweet and it’s enjoyable. I’d like a bit more freshness/creativity over who the perps are as it felt a bit borrowed and I was anticipating it rather than surprised.

Great continuation of series
