Blake Taylor isn't the queen of horror, but she's certainly a member of the royal court. Blake has made a career out of writing novels that make her readers want to leave the lights on at night. I enjoy Robin Alexander books, This was not as slapstick as others, but still light hearted, and enjoyable. Lori Prince narration was well suited.

Another perfect pairing. I felt all the emotions run through me as the story progressed! And laugh. I love a book that makes me laugh. I love the way Robbin writes! And there is always one or two characters that have a personality that’s hard not to fall in love with. Lori brings each character to life and really makes their personality’s shine. I can hardly wait to start another! I finished Apple Martini in three days - and this in two!

Robyn Alexander never fails to make me laugh and this book was no exception. The story was really good as well. Definitely would recommend.

I can’t say I had laugh out loud moments on this one, but I enjoyed it. I enjoyed seeing somebody that had very little courage, of age and provide courage to someone else.

This is a touching, achingly heartwarming romance. It’s about how childhood trauma can scar you for life and how one day you get the strength to grow through it and change your whole life. The main character, Blake meets someone who loves and supports her throughout this change and it makes all the difference. This is such a sweet story written by the amazing Robin Alexander and read beautifully by Lori Prince.. Robin Alexander writes with such humour and empathy, that you’ll fall in love with the characters and want to listen to the story again and again.
