Lorenzo Ariza nació en Lumpiaque (Zaragoza) en 1963. Se licenció en Bellas Artes por la Universidad de Barcelona, ciudad en la que reside y en donde trabaja como profesor de dibujo. Pez de Plata confió en su primera novela, Samsa, en el año 2014.
