Publisher's Summary

Gunslinger: A quarterback who throws deep risky passes on the field and off....

I hate sports, and he is football royalty. I like quiet and predictable, but he's sex and swagger personified. I didn't particularly care for Saint Stevenson the first moment I laid eyes on him, but his warped brain seemed to process our initial meeting as foreplay.

I have a meticulous five-year plan in place for myself and my career, but now this huge, cocky, self-absorbed quarterback who I've been assigned to at work is seriously f--king it up.

He's the ultimate player on and off the field, and it doesn't make any sense that I'm falling hard and fast for the arrogant baller; but there doesn't seem to be anything about our love story that makes any sense at all.

Contains mature themes.

Swoon worthy HEA

Saint by Lisa Lang Blakeney is the first book in the Nighthawk series, which is a football romance.

The football player and the account manager, aka Saint and Sabrina. Their story starts with some chance encounters, but nothing more than some brief conversations until Saint can’t stop thinking about the woman who has no idea who he is, so it’s time to take a chance.

Not only doesn’t Sabrina remember their first encounter, she has no idea that Saint is a football player. But the moment he steps into her office, that attraction they’ve each felt before continues to slowly build.

Also, oh my gosh, the last paragraph of this story is sooooo swoon worthy!

The story is dual POV’s from both Sabrina and Saint.

good story and narration

liked the story and narrators. My only issue was sometimes 'Gunslinger's' cockiness was a bit too much and a couple of times his 'praise' during sexy time sounded like he was talking down to her rather than being sexy but that was just my own opinion and preference

I really enjoyed reading it first then had to grab the audible... enjoyed the audible, but always just wondered why the audible always come out later on so why not have the bonus epilogue on it, but so stil very lovely to listen to.

Funny

The book is good and the female narrator has an amazing voice. Worth listening to.
