This was my first Sharon Bolton and will definitely be reading more.
The only real issue was the narrator. Her voice was too old for the characters and her emphasis made it sound as if the characters were bored.

A great story with some good twists and turns. Shame about the narrator, she was obviously much older than the age of the main character so it was a challenge at the beginning to get an image of her. Sounds obvious, but narration has such a big impact on an audio book. Who ever casts them should listen to their previous work to see if they are suitable for that particular book.
