I really enjoyed this book set against the backdrop of an animal shelter. Loved the characters, the build up of the relationship between Emily and Catherine and the dry wit.

I have read the other two books in this series, but this is my favourite. I think it’s because I listened to this one and Abby Craden made the story just shine.
