About this listen

I am not his conquest. I am not his to claim. I am my own castle.”

Freed from the golden clutches of the Sun King, Lor now finds herself in the hands of Nadir, the Aurora Prince. Convinced she’s hiding something, he’s willing to do whatever it takes to make her talk. But Lor knows the value of secrets—she’s been keeping them her entire life—and she’s not letting hers go without a fight.

When Lor and Nadir team up to search for a lost item that holds the key to her past and her future, she isn’t sure if she can trust him. All she knows is she won’t fall for his promises and make the same mistakes again.

Lor also hasn’t forgotten her vow to destroy the Aurora King. As Atlas hunts her across Ouranos, Lor plots to bring down the Imperial Fae who took everything. But she soon realizes that the future of the continent is about so much more than just her shattered legacy.

Rule of the Aurora King is the second book in the Artefacts of Ouranos series and combines romance, intrigue, action, and adventure. If you love enemies to lovers, fated mates, and fake dating, don’t miss this exciting next installment!

The MMC had me hooked line and sinker. And his beautiful Wolfie companions. Loved how 2 families were somehow fated to start working together, despite the brutal history.

Auroa Prince mmmmm

In enjoying the series although the second book started to drag on towards the latter half. I was considering not continuing but then the ending was left on a cliff hanger that left me wanting more

Great storyline and narrator

dislike when there are two authors, male and female, but each chapter they put on a female or male voice in the chapter. why not read together and have the male speak the male voice!?

loved

So this book I feel was more about the romance than advancing the plot but I’m more than ok with that. If you’re not and you really want to see the storyline advance then you might be disappointed. In all an easy listen 👌🏽

Very spicy

I enjoyed the first book in the series but I found this book to be a bit boring and repetitive. I wasn’t a fan of the male narration part.
I’ve purchased the third book in the series but I’m in no hurry to start listening to it, as I’m afraid it’s going to follow along the same line as this one did.

Could’ve been so much better

Booktok has raved about this series but for me I’m really not sure it’s living up to the hype. I didn’t like the flashbacks of characters I didn’t really care about. I really just wanted to know about the current story and I think the story wouldn’t be affected badly if you took all the boring flashbacks out. Also it might just be a personal preference but it’s too much of a slow burn for me. It got frustrating. I’m currently on the 3rd book and it’s STILL slow burn and frustrating. I am still continuing with the series because the overall plot is interesting and I like the two main characters and I’m invested in their story. I just can’t put my finger on why I don’t love it. I’ve had to put this down a few times. Considering it was compared to Quicksilver I don’t think it compares anywhere near the amazing reading/listening experience that was for me. I don’t want to be a hater though this is still a 4 star read I would say. Because I am invested and love the characters. I just am frustrated with this series and hate the flashbacks on characters that don’t really matter to me. Narrators did a good job. Wish it was duet though. I really don’t know why authors chose dual instead of duet!? Like you’re almost there just make it duet so listeners can have an amazing listening experience and consistent voices for each character.

Not sure it lives up to the hype
