About this listen

Aria’s in the hands of her enemies, and things are going from bad to worse. Those who she thought were allies have become enemies, and enemies have become allies. On top of that, Knox’s history is unraveling, and it might just be Aria’s undoing.

Will they overcome what was done to the Nine Realms? Or will the truth destroy them both? Aria’s plans are all coming apart, and with everything on the line, how far will Aria go to protect those she loves from Knox’s anger?

Love it, both narrator's did an awesome job. Only thing I found irritating was whilst the female narrator was reading, you could hear her page turning in the background. Can't wait for the next instalment.

Great story, non stop action. Plenty of spicy.

First of all, the voice actors are superb in this series. The voice switching and editing flow smoothly and sound like the natural conversations they're intended to be. There are repetitive parts between the two characters that rely on the miscommunication trope, which can be frustrating. However, the banter was hilarious, and the story is good. It includes every trope that we all enjoy, but the push-pull dynamic between the two characters was exhausting—though there was a semblance of realism in the love-hate-love-hate cycle. While they don't actually admit to being in love, as a reader we can see what they have yet to figure out and admit. I recommend it. The spice was bordering on comical and there’s a lot of it. is there such as thing as too much? I like plot with my spice and there’s just enough to keep me intrigued and wanting more.

It’s a good time.

Book 3! Cliff hanger!

4.5/5 ⭐️
3.5/5 🌶

- witches, realms, creatures
- dark subject matter + vibes (check CWs)

- enemies-to-lovers (enemies-with-benefits) - at times CNC + Dub/Con
- frustrating/angsty
- potential mate bonding/bonded mates
- k!nk pr!mal

This book, like the previous ends on a cliff hanger.

Enjoyable but dark series that was pretty difficult to read at times due to the dark content i.e. SA, violence. Very gory. It was also really emotionally hard due to the back-and-forth between Knox and Aria - it's giving unrequited love and it's giving 'you're mine but I won't ever love you'. There's also a ton of bullying by side characters that Knox lets happen more often then he protects her. she's also a more or less helpless for majority of this book, and as a strong fem-lead it was hard seeing her lose her power, be so volunerable and have her heart break (THEY'RE STILL ENEMIES IT IS BOOK 3!!!). At this point I want Aria to be happy with someone else TBH.

Clearly i'm invested.

+18 Dark NA Fantasy - enemies with benefits

The entire series could’ve been two books instead of four. It’s very repetitive and the spicy scenes get a bit boring after a while.
However, the characters are amazing and the humor is great when it sneaks in.
The plot is also really good.
I just wish they would stop squabbling about the same shit over and over.

Long winded
