Publisher's Summary

Life is full of expectations. For Brady Coldwell, it's always been about the game. Hockey is, and always will be, his life. His family sacrificed everything to get him here, and he won't let them down. He knows what's expected of him.

Natalie Banks is no different. She too knows what it means to have everyone sacrifice for you. She knows about the debt that's owed in the end, and the price you pay for making up your own mind.

But when an innocent mistake lands Brady and Natalie as roommates, neither of them is prepared for the feelings they have, or the consequences of their actions.

How do you negotiate matters of the heart? How do you say no when it simply feels so right?

Good light sport romance story.

Good light read, would've love to know what happens next though. Great narrators and liked the way the authors wrote the story. Will look for more of their work.

Good read. not the best ive ever read but worth the credit spent on it. wish the female lead would grow a spine with her mother though.

Charming

What did you love best about Roommates?

I really enjoyed the back and forth as well as the slow building to true emotions for each other

What was one of the most memorable moments of Roommates?

The punch.

What does Elizabeth Hart and Eric London bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

They did a great job at performing. I really felt the characters.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Sometimes your own voice should be loudest.

Any additional comments?

This was a great listen. Loved the characters and the narration.

Good, Lighthearted Fun

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I stayed up till 6 am finishing this book and easily could have finished it in one sitting. I love that it was a lighthearted, low drama romance. I liked that it didn't skirt past the sex but also seemed to have some depth to the story. It can be hard to find a good book with both!

It's so good

I've read this book and loved it, so when I saw the audio come out, I scooped it up quick.

Roommates is on the lighter side, not too much angst or drama. There's a lot of humor and a lot of romance and a lot of entertainment. I loved every second

Elizabeth and Eric did a fantastic job with narration. They were the perfect choices.

Too Cute!

The accidental mix up in this hilarious and endearing story leads BJ (Brady) and Nate (Nat) on an experience they won't forget. I really enjoy a well written, new adult story, and this was it.

I've had this book on my TBR list for a while, but waited until I could get my hands on the audio too. And I'm glad I did. Eric London portrayed the perfect young rookie and Elizabeth Hart brought out the walking contradiction of a down-to-earth yet somewhat pampered princess.
I'll be looking into more by both the authors and narrators.

1 Shade of Alabaster

My eyes rolled up into my lids and stayed there permanently throughout this listen. Of course, Nat is stunning, with a tiny, incredible body, long luscious blonde hair, and blue eyes. Of course, in addition to being a pool shark, she's also quite the skilled gamer... why, she even slays the pro hockey players at their own game when playing Xbox NHL! Everyone loves them some Nat. She's sexy, yet church-girl innocent.

Of course, Brady is stunning, with a tall, incredible physique, long luscious eyelashes and dark features. Of course, he's a whoring NHL-primed hockey player. Guess what happens next when their friends trick them into co-habitation? Oh, and did I mention their best friends are rich, famous, jet-setting socialites?

The sex scenes are weirdly pornographic. I'm no prude, however they seem overly graphic and incongruous with the rest of the content, as though the author is attempting to satisfy the Midwest housewife contingent, the ones who lapped up that 50 Shades drivel.

Dissapointing

I eventually gave up on this one. Too much going on, more could have been done with the relationship between the two MCs.
