Am Ende fällt sogar ein Schuss und die ortsansässige Zahnärztin liegt tot am Boden. Die Täter flüchten nach Fredenbüll - verkleidet als Cowboy und Indianer, wie Augenzeugen zu berichten wissen.
Als kurz darauf eine weitere Tote gefunden wird, ist das Chaos perfekt und Thies froh, dass er auch diesmal wieder von der Kieler Kommissarin Nicole Stappenbek unterstützt wird.
