Tidligt om morgenen søndag den 2. september 1979 fandtes i en baggård på Vesterbro i København et lemlæstet lig af en ung mand. Hvem var han og hvor kom han fra? Forelå der er en forbrydelse, måske en seksualforbrydelse, måske en likvidering eller kunne det være et ulykkestilfælde?
Allerede nogle timer efter blev liget af den unge mand identificeret, og den videre efterforskning viste, at der forelå en ualmindelig bestialsk forbrydelse, og først efter en lang og intens efterforskning lykkedes det at få gerningsmændene anholdt.
