Publisher's Summary

Together again for the first time: Barry Cryer and Ronnie Golden, two icons of rock and...droll! Songs, jokes, and a commentary on our times. Who could ask for anything less.

Ronnie Golden: platinum-haired, purple-hearted, and silver-tongued was born in straitened circumstances, in a little village outside Lowestoft. He played on his mother's knee as a baby, as the family couldn't afford a guitar. He has led two legendary bands: Fabulous Poodles and Ronnie & the Rex; notice the dog motif?

He met Mr Cryer at a hot pot mafia supper in Macclesfield, and they commenced their songwriting career whilst waiting for a laugh in Darlington. Since then, they have been coming on in leaps and bounds, although they have been advised by their doctors to just walk on.

Listen, enjoy, tune in, drop out: they can be heard LIVE at a shopping mall near you.

DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME.
