Like a well written erotica

A good amount of erotica mixed in with a story about a genuinely decent seeming guy - the first I’ve come across in a harem style book - as you follow along in his life.

Nice change of pace from the ‘save everyone your super special and powerful’. He is just good looking and nice guy who is as lucky as only a male MC in a fantasy book can be - in relation to his love life at least.

Looking forward to the next book!

BE AWARE — the sex scenes, of which there are a few are long and very descriptive and don’t use substitute words as some books do.

Narrator was very good at vocal inflections, though his cadence was off sometimes. Having said that either they didnt credit someone for doing the female voices OR the narrator does really convincing female voices - I would not be able to tell if it was either! 👍

Fun read. Enjoy it and don't take it seriously.

I am amazed at how much I enjoyed this book. There is some steamy action in the book. The main character is a regular guy who can't choose one girl when they throw themselves at him including the girlfriend of his best friend. The series deals with taboo themes likes this and it adds a level of anticipation for what the character will do or become in the future. He is not a Rock God/Star yet since he is trying to find his love for music again after dealing with personal tragedy. This is more like the origins of a Rock God/Star. He's not entirely loveable but then again what Rock Star is?

If you liked books like Wild Wastes, Good Intentions, Daniel Black Series, Tamer, then you should enjoy this.

Title is slightly misleading

So while the title is "Rock God", the book nor the main character are not about anything rock n roll, or musical centered. The main character's back story includes a musically talented past. This book is fairly well balanced with between story and sexual scenes. The story follows a guy from the end of high school into college, some tragic family events and a childhood best friend that sort of pulls him out of a social slump. The main character is written to have charisma and attractive which scores him the attention of ladies from within his college social group and that of girls from some other social settings. It wasnt until near the end of the book that his musical talent is put into play in a minor way (I honestly figured it would be in a bigger way based off the title). The story is entertaining. I'm looking forward to book 2.

13 yr old author

The narration was great. Love the range he produces. But the entire book felt as though it was written by a 13 year old. Sex scene almost twice a chapter, which would be forgivable, but its told with the type of braggadocio youd expect from an inexperienced middle schooler. Honestly regret spending a credit on it.
