There’s nothing to dislike. I was only again hooked from the start. I can only summarise that every character we all loved has only taken there places more firmly in the book but levelled up on the way they deal with the conflicts that will face them. I couldn’t not turn the audiobook off. Only had to have a break when I drained each ear pod and the case of all battery life.

Stella narration, epic story, pacing got a bit weird toward the end but it really is an amazing fantasy. Love how the story adapts and evolves with new ideas that just seem to flow over the course of the books, very impressive growth.

wow, the story can't end there! ... Rezkin has become a perfect emperor but Wesson is going to be challenged by himself and the demons . This is a great series

I got the first book on a whim and promptly bought all six after it! This is the best series I’ve read in a long time.

My favourite kinds of books are usually ACOTAR-like. They have a lot of feeling and heavy reflection moments. This book was a breath of fresh air in comparison. Males tend to include a lot of action and doing-scenes within their writing, which I’m coming to appreciate!

I’ve very much enjoyed following Reskin (who is a very interesting and unique character) throughout his slow burn journey and learning things with him. He has come so far. Excellent character development.

The side characters picked up along the way and their individual growth moments have complimented the tale epically. I find myself excited with each perspective switch and storyline switch as I truly enjoy each character.

The world has been beautifully built, mapped out, and all areas considered with brilliant detail.

I’m looking forward to book 8! And I will 100% be checking out everything else from Kel Kade.

P.S I thoroughly enjoyed the voice actor, he did a brilliant job! I really appreciate that he did all 7 books; the continuity is *chefs kiss*
