Hinter dem großen Wald und den Drachenbergen liegt das Feenland. Und in einer Ecke des Feenlands, da wohnt der Ritter Kuno Kettenstrumpf. Er ist ein waschechter Ritter ohne Furcht und Tadel. Kuno liebt Schwertkämpfe, Schokoladenkuchen und das Burgfräulein Konstanze. Mit seinem Pferd Rosinante zieht Kuno durch das Feenland und erlebt viele Abenteuer mit den Trollen sowie den Bösewichten Rasputin und Balduin.
Diese beiden haben es auf ein Erbstück von Kunos Urgroßvater abgesehen: die Silberlanze. Wer sie besitzt, ist unbesiegbar. Nur Kuno weiß, dass sich die Lanze nicht in seinem Besitz befindet und er selber auf der Suche nach ihr ist. Zum Glück sind die Freunde Prinz Nepomuk, Elf Aurin und der treue Drache Dragobert an seiner Seite. Und ganz zum Schluss taucht die Lanze auch wieder auf - als Fahnenmast auf dem Burgturm!
