the voice actress is extremely versatile and easy to listen to. the story has an excellent political intrigue with a dash of detective dash to the finish (as you get all viewpoints it's not really a whodunit)

absolute fave for 40k

All the intrigue and warpcraft you'd expect from a plot involving Navigators. And about time too, there's a lot of potential from them that Mike Brooks does a great job of exploring.

Highly recommended.

Well written.

Enjoyed the perspective of a Navigator. A fun mystery to solve as well. I think some of the intrigue in later chapters could have been fleshed out, felt like there had been some hard edits. Did very much enjoy the book though

An interesting perspective on the Imperium

It was a pretty good story. The zie's and zer's are dumb but it doesn't distract from the story too much and is kinda brief.
I was expecting more space battles and palace intrigue, instead we get a solid action story, similar to a lot of inquisitor tales.

Navigators.

Fantastic story, several interesting plot points and intrigues that were solved well. Helen Keeley's performance really pulls it all together, her voices for all the charaters making then all instantly recongiseable and unique.

All and all, a very good book

Fantastic

Lifting the lid (pun intended) on the culture of the Navigators of 40K with a story refreshing in its characters and circumstances, superbly performed by the reader, this is an excellent book dealing with one of the most under explored and under utilised yet truly essential parts of the setting. Worth the read for any 40K fan but particularly for anyone looking for less usual fare from 40K novels.

A real gem

My first Mike Brooks, and I'll definitely be reading more. I strongly recommend it.

Definitely one of the best 40k books I've read.

A well written book that highlights the underhanded political nature of navigator houses. would like to see more written by Mike Brooks for the Warhammer universe

Good book about lesser used faction
