this was a nice, sweet story...of Eva! the trig from book 2 wasn't here....that's how it felt anyway. Eva was a wimp....I just couldn't wrap my head around her thought process and actions.
the story had a lot of holes and was running pretty thin in a lot of places....there was no MC interaction, no angst, no twists or danger, no plot really...it was all about childhood grudges, past relationships, fear and 1 woman's conscience....nope not into this at all, surprised after the 1st 2 books..as this was nothing like them. it could have just been labelled another modern day love story...as it really had nothing to do with the stone kings. 1st listen to Anastasia which I felt had good tone and put some life Into Eva. and for what troy had to work with he saved the book..geez just love the gravel tones.....come on Daphne give me more MC good ones
