Publisher's Summary

In difficult times, debt can be a matter of life and death, happiness and despair. Controlling debt can bring order and calm. Mastering debt can bring wealth and success. As bestselling Rich Dad Poor Dad author Robert Kiyosaki says, "Good debt makes you rich and bad debt makes you poor."

The ABCs of Getting Out of Debt provides the necessary knowledge to navigate through a very challenging credit environment. A Rich Dad Advisor and best selling author of numerous business books, Garrett Sutton, Esq. and contributorGerri Detweiler, clearly speak on the key strategies listeners must follow to get out of debt. Nothing about good debt

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

Could have devoted some time to using good debt.

What was most disappointing about Garrett Sutton’s story?

I have really enjoyed other books by Sutton, but this is written for people who are in terrible financial situations to get them back to zero. This is not about using credit to leverage good debt.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

disappointment

Eliminate Bad Debt and Start Building your Wealth!

This book is an excellent roadmap! Like any worthy goal, you will have to put the time and effort in, but this is definitely the first step. If one paid hourly to learn this information from a personal lawyer or a financial advisor, it would cost at least a couple thousand dollars, and that is being conservative. This is advice, straight from a subject matter expert....and it is almost free. I would highly recommend this valuable work if you are serious about eliminating bad debt and building wealth.

Worth the credit & time

I wasn't expecting very much from this short read. Since completing the book, I have changed my routine and now communicate my financial goals via correspondence with creditors. I had my rates lowered and experienced small wins. I'm now understanding that I have more control than I thought. Recommended for adults that care about their credit.

Great info!

I learned a TON! So much about credit scores and how fix mistakes. Also insight on why each credit reporting company will give you a different score. I feel more confident about contacting companies and asking questions about my accounts. I started some of the steps within the first chapter and got a few tho vs lowered and even some charges removed from 2 accounts.
