About this listen
This story revolves around the life of a revolver. There are no main characters or supporting actors throughout the story. Instead, the revolver is the main focus as it travels from one owner to the next.
The star of this feature is a pearl-handled .38 caliber snub-nosed revolver. We follow the weapon through its life in a small city somewhere in South Texas. Each owner of the .38 has a different approach to the gun’s purpose and use. As the gun passes through time, the story shows the different relationship of it to its owners. Sometimes, the weapon is for security or a tool of aggression or just for sport, but here, it is deadly every time.
