Reunion in Death
I've loved reading these books but now I'm loving listening to them. The narration is tops, clear and easy to !isten to . If you loved reading these books as I have then try the audio version.

I did enjoy the game of cat of mouse.
2023 AUDIBLE REVIEW
I have also started buying the audible books and have listened to the audio book version as well.
The narrator is improving with the overall inflection, or I am getting more used to her narration style, and seems to be improving with separating the characters voices.
I can separate the voices of the main characters better.
I did enjoy the game of cat of mouse and everyone having their say.
BOOK REVIEW
One of my favourites, a pure joy to read for so many reasons.
Eve is pitting wits against a killer she helped put away once before as a new detective. A woman who should never have been let out of jail and when she targets Roarke to get to Eve, the gloves come off.
Eve and Roarke are really building a solid foundation for their marriage but butt heads a lot in this one, as well as also celebrate their first anniversary.
Their solid connection really shows the most when Eve returns to Dallas and confronts her memories of what happened the night she started to become Eve Dallas.
Peabody takes on a cold case and brings it home. And I loved having Peabody’s parents spring a surprise visit and whammy Eve and Roarke with The Look.
Good to see a softer side to Eve when she turns to Dr Mira for advice and how she deals with going back to Dallas and those memories from her brutal childhood.
Roarke also struggles with feeling helpless about Eve’s past.
I have read all of these books twice already as I own most in paperback and am slowly collecting the kindle versions too.
I am rereading this series once more, updating and replacing missing reviews.
I just hope the newer cover version has the errors sorted out.
