On the living planet Tara, are the Evnin, a tribal species and the humans, a new species far from their rotting planet. They are at war over Tara, a war that hurts Tara and threatens all the life on her surface. To fix it she created two souls meant to be one. She created Elkiv, born to the chief of a well hidden tribe with a deep love for her people. And she created Lizzie, born with a deep connection to Tara behind the human fences.
Together they are supposed to bring the two species together in peace. But the humans used Lizzie, replaced her mind with one from their own. A tyrant warlord scarred from a hundred years of battle and the desperate nails of the people she trampled. A mind soaked in blood and death. Tara has good intentions, but what she has done, might just lead to the Evnin's annihilation.
