A Timely, Needed Message

As a Christian husband, this message was timely. Many of my struggles and issues were addressed in here, and I really want to do even more as a husband as a result. This and other Cloud and Townsend books have been very helpful, and I give this a 5-star recommendation on all fronts!

Laundry List

What would have made Rescue Your Love Life better?

This book could have used more case studies and practical day-to-day applications. Although the book started out well, it became a sing-song recitation of a laundry list of "To achieve X, first do y, then do z, etc.." The mountain of "to dos" became so huge that I lost interest and boiled the book down to: "If you want to save your love life, see a therapist". Twenty years ago I might have gone for this presentation, but not today.
