About this listen

Tamera Alexander, critically acclaimed author of Rekindled, paints a vivid portrait of two solitary seekers whose paths converge.

When Veronique Girard was five, her father left Paris for America to amass a fortune and send for his family. After 25 long years, a death-bed promise brings Veronique to 1870's Colorado to find her father, said to be mining nearby. But when she asks a local freighter to take her on his mining camp deliveries, surprising events unfold.

This book could've almost been stand alone except for the people in the previous books and reintroducing Jack Brennan.

I wonder if there might have been another character that could've been used but still it was a great story and I enjoyed it though I'm glad I don't have to listen to the narrator now.

job well done Tamera Alexander

loved the story but average narrator
